Objective
This role will prepare concept and detailed designs of solar power plants as well as perform QC inspections of PV-installations throughout the Benelux.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create solar power plant designs in Autocad.
- Create the single line and multiwire diagrams in close collaboration with our electrical engineers.
- Coordinate with our CAD design team.
- Follow-up installations under construction in line with our engineering- and technical specifications.
- Perform detailed and advanced measurements on-site including infrared inspections.
- You will report to the CTO
Profile
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent by extensive experience.
- 10 years of experience in a service or technical field role within the field of photovoltaics.
- Certification to BA5/VP and VCA-VOL is a must or willingness to achieve this within short time via self-education.
- Experienced in the use of Autocad. Use of specific PV software add-ons are a plus.
- You are hands-on and practical oriented.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical codes & standards as well as their implementation practices.
- Willingness for regular travel within the Benelux.
- No 9-to-5 mentality.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a strong plus.

Objective
In this role, your most important objective is further build our international growth strategy.
Role and responsibilities
- Bare responsibility for the international growth strategy of Pulsar Power by taking on a strategical and advising role in the management board
- Analyse country-specific aspects and ensure that these business requirements are build correctly and efficiently
- Perform research into new potential, international sales markets
- Give foundational and informed advice to the direction board during the internationalization and business development trajectory
- Analyse sales strategies, map risks and opportunities and draft implementation plans which are coupled to the KPI’s and SLA’s
- Analyse potential new commercial relations and business partners
- Maintain contact with existing business partners to generate extra partnerships
- Set up partnerships to enter a new target market tactically and successfully
- Perform strategic development partnerships with clients for long-term sustainable business cooperation

Profile

To support the company’s further growth and expansion, Pulsar Power is looking for a grid engineer located in our office in Athens or in Thessaloniki.
Objective
The objective of this function is an operational role whereas you will actively perform grid studies and optioneering studies as well as building digital twins.
These projects do involve various production sources such as solar, wind, CHP as well as battery storage and demand response processes.
Role and responsibilities
- Coordinate grid studies between the grid operator and the developer/investor.
- Identify and manage the technical requirements for grid supporting services and the impact thereof to the plant design.
- Perform grid studies in Digsilent Powerfactory®.
- You will create required scripts to optimise the works and processes.
- Close follow up and deep learning of the technical requirements of the energy market regarding ancillary services, imbalance, arbitrage, … to create the proper design for the given project.
- You will report to the local Grid Engineering Manager
Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent by extensive experience.
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role the field of distribution or transmission networks.
- Deep interest and passion about renewable energy projects connected to the medium- and high voltage grid
- You are familiar with practices in the field regarding electrical connections.
- Excellent knowledge of European electrical codes & standards as well as their implementation practices.
- Strong analytical mind and working experience.
- In-depth knowledge of RfG NC EU 2016/631.
- Good understanding of electrical behaviour of intermittent production sources such as wind, solar and/or other renewable sources.
- Knowledge of software and controls for grid operation & control.
- Good working experience with PowerFactory software.
- Experience with Matlab® is a plus.

You will also contribute to future digital solutions thanks to your programming and configuration skills and your field knowledge in energy, industry and industrial telecommunications.
