To support the company’s further growth and expansion, Pulsar Power is looking for a Project & QC engineer, based in Belgium.

Objective

This role will prepare concept and detailed designs of solar power plants as well as perform QC inspections of PVinstallations throughout the Benelux.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create solar power plant designs in Autocad.
  • Create the single line and multiwire diagrams in close collaboration with our electrical engineers.
  • Coordinate with our CAD design team.
  • Followup installations under construction in line with our engineering and technical specifications.
  • Perform detailed and advanced measurements onsite including infrared inspections.
  • You will report to the CTO


Profile

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent by extensive experience.
  • 10 years of experience in a service or technical field role within the field of photovoltaics.
  • Certification to BA5/VP and VCAVOL is a must or willingness to achieve this within short time via selfeducation.
  • Experienced in the use of Autocad. Use of specific PV software addons are a plus.
  • You are handson and practical oriented.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical codes & standards as well as their implementation practices.
  • Willingness for regular travel within the Benelux.
  • No 9to5 mentality.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a strong plus.

Objective

The objective of this role is to connect the commercial activities with the backoffice to ensure the client and project objectives are met whilst maintaining excellent communication and reporting lines to all relevant stakeholders.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will actively interact with clients and partners and support the sales and delivery process.
  • Your creative mind can translate the challenges of the energy transition into conceptual engineering solutions to create positive business cases for our clients.
  • You manage the commercial process and corresponding invoice flow.
  • Supporting clients in the execution and implementation process as a technical energy specialist is your passion and drive.
  • You will evaluate clients requirements and develop solutions based on a changing and technically challenging market.
  • You followup projects from presales till delivery including construction visits.

We do provide specialised engineering services, Technical Advice, plant inspection and full owner’s engineering for renewable energy plants throughout Europe with a strong focus on grid integration of hybrid renewable energy systems.

To support the company’s further growth and expansion, Pulsar Power is looking for a Hybrid grid engineer Benelux.


Objective

The objective of this function is to become the interface between Pulsar Power and Benelux based DSO’s and TSO’s with the goal to implement advanced grid supporting and economical hybrid powerplants based on renewable energy.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate grid studies between the grid operator and the developer/investor.
  • Identify and manage the technical requirements for grid supporting services and the impact thereof to the plant design.
  • Calculate the financial plan for revenues and corresponding investments.
  • Advice clients on best available technologies to optimally integrate and combine different variable energy sources including wind, solar, BESS and EV charge points.
  • You will create stateoftheart engineering models to allow technicalcommercial sensitivity analysis on grid integration models.
  • Close follow up and deep learning of the technical requirements of the energy market regarding ancillary services, imbalance, arbitrage, to create the proper design for the given project.
  • You will report to the European engineering manager


Profile

  • You hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent by extensive experience.
  • Relevant extensive experience in the field of distribution or transmission networks or similar field of expertise.
  • Experience with renewable energy projects connected to the medium and high voltage grid between
  • You are familiar with practices on the ground regarding electrical connections.
  • Excellent knowledge of European electrical codes & standards as well as their implementation practices.
  • Strong analytical mind and working experience.
  • Indepth knowledge of RfG NC EU 2016/631.
  • Good understanding of electrical behaviour of intermittent production sources such as wind, solar and/or other renewable sources.
  • Knowledge of software and controls for grid operation & control.
  • Extensive working experience with PowerFactory software.
  • Experience with energy storage is a plus
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English.
